David Bromstad is well-known for being a HGTV show host. Most will associate the TV star with My Lottery Dream Home. But, when David isn’t checking out homes that make viewers green with envy, he’s now taking a glimpse at some of the no-so-good-looking properties on Hot Mess Renos.

Oozing creativity, David landed his first art and design job at Walt Disney World after completing college. Following this he was crowned HGTV Design Star’s first winner. He later went on to become a TV show host at the network with Color Splash and My Lottery Dream Home.

Continuing David’s success at HGTV, he’s now hosting a new show this November called Hot Mess Renos.

Kicking off his new series, episode 1 begins at 9/8c on Friday, November 24.

A clip of the show sees David laughing at Christina Hall as she deals with a grimy home renovation project.

David shouts over the HGTV scene: “Unleash the roaches.”

He writes on Instagram that she show features “some of the most horrific close-call renovations in HGTV history,” adding: “From buying derelict houses sight unseen, to fires, floods, stolen cars and slithering surprise visitors…”
