Starting this weekend, Taylor Swift will kick off her short Motor City era.

On June 9-10, the “Anti-Hero” singer is swinging into Detroit’s Ford Field for two shows as part of her record-shattering, attention-grabbing ‘Eras Tour.’

And as you may have heard, ticket prices for this career-spanning, decade defining show haven’t been cheap.

That trend continues in Detroit too — at the time of publication, the cheapest ticket available for Swift’s two-night stint were $1001 before fees on Vivid Seats.

However, if you’re a Detroit Swiftie, we want to let you know that you have two things working in your favor.

First, $1001 is by the far lowest price we’ve seen on Taylor tickets on a Monday. Just last week, tickets started at $1297 before fees in Chicago.

Secondly, based on our records, prices drop significantly on the day of the show.

Therefore, we suggest refreshing this page all week to find a deal.

Who knows? You may just discover a bargain beyond your “Wildest Dreams.”

Taylor Swift opening acts

This weekend, Taylor is bringing Girl In Red, Owenn and Gracie Abrams with her on select dates of the Friday and Saturday residency.

Here’s what you need to know about the established openers.

Girl In Red is the moniker for Marie Ulven Ringheim, a Norwegian-born singer-songwriter. Ringheim, who often records her indie pop in her own bedroom covers heavy topics like romance and mental health in her lyrics. It should be noted that you may also know Girl In Red by her Soundcloud handle, “Lydia X.”

OWENN, a powerful R&B singer, is the only male opening act on the “Eras Tour.” It’s possible that you may recognize him from Swift’s music video “Lover” where he played the romantic lead opposite Taylor. Haven’t heard his stuff? You’ll want to check out the catchy single “Baby Girl,” which will get you moving and grooving in no time.

Gracie Abrams, the daughter of film director JJ Abrams and producer Katie McGrath, is a star in her own right. Her song “I miss you, I’m sorry” has upwards of 100 million streams on Spotify, she opened for Olivia Rodrigo on the 2022 “Sour Tour” and headlined her own tour this spring as well.
