Jeffrey Norman Death News: Memphis Firefighter, Jeffrey Norman Died While 3 Injured After Tennessee House Fire
On Tuesday, July 17, 2023, Memphis firemen were called to the site of a house fire in Tennessee. One of the Memphis firefighters, Jeffrey Norman, died as a result of the devastating fire that broke out in South Memphis after the incident.
The fire started on Rile Street, which is situated off of Interstate 55 in South Memphis, on Tuesday night at 11:30. Three additional Memphis firefighters were hurt after Jeffrey passed away.

The firefighter was one of four people suspected to be trapped, according to fire department officials. The Memphis Fire Department has identified the firefighter as Lt. Jeffrey Norman.
The department claims that Norman began his professional career in Memphis in 2002. Norman is praised by Chief Gina Sweat of the Memphis Fire Department as a leader, a hard worker, and someone who enjoyed giving back to the community.
